2026年７月18日(土)～20日(月)に近畿大学で開催された日本英語模擬国連「Japan English Model United Nations（JEMUN）」において、公立小松大学が「University Positive Impact Award」を受賞、国際文化交流学部２年生久保 流輝さんが「Best Position Paper Award」を受賞しました。 
　JEMUNでは国内外の大学生や高校生が各国の大使役となり、国際課題について英語のみを用いて討論、交渉、協働を行い、決議案の作成に取り組みます。今年は31団体が参加し、「Shaping a Sustainable and Human-Centered AI Future（持続可能で人間中心のAI社会の実現）」をテーマに、AIの倫理性、持続可能性、人間の幸福を重視したAI活用のあり方について、4つの会議室に分かれて議論を深めました。 
　公立小松大学とボンド大学(オーストラリア)とのJEMUN参加準備のための協同プログラムは今年で５回目となり、合同での参加も４回目となりました。 この研鑽の積み重ねが大きく実を結び、31の参加校の中から3校に贈られる「University Positive Impact Award」のうち2つを、小松大学とボンド大学がそれぞれ獲得しました。この賞は、大学代表団全体として卓越したチームワークを発揮し、会議全体の雰囲気向上に大きく貢献した大学代表団に贈られるものです。 
　さらに、国際文化交流学部２年生久保 流輝さんが、政策提案をまとめた内容が高く評価された参加者に贈られる「Best Position Paper（最優秀ポジションペーパー賞）」を受賞しました。 
　今回の受賞は、学生たちの努力と両大学の継続的な連携の大きな成果となりました。本大会で培った英語による発信力や協働力を生かし、今後の学びや進路選択につなげていくことが期待されます。

July 2026 marked a significant milestone: the fifth collaborative Model United Nations preparation between Komatsu University and Bond University, and their fourth joint appearance at the Japan English Model United Nations (JEMUN). This year, JEMUN hosted 31 participating universities, with delegates spread across four meeting rooms to deliberate on AI and communication through various thematic UN simulations.

The foundation for this year's success was laid months in advance. From May through July, Komatsu students and their Bond University counterparts met weekly for intensive online training sessions. This dedicated preparation culminated when the Bond delegation arrived in Ishikawa on July 11th for final in-person workshops. Alongside their academic preparations, the students enjoyed several cross-cultural experiences, including a trip to the historic village of Shirakawa-go, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and a traditional Wadaiko drumming session in Hakusan City, before heading to Kindai University in Osaka for the conference from July 18th to 20th. 

Their hard work was recognized at the event. Out of the 31 participating institutions, Komatsu and Bond universities proudly secured two of the three University Positive Impact Awards. This award specifically honors university delegations that demonstrate outstanding collective effort and positively elevate the conference environment.

In addition to the group accolades, individual excellence was also celebrated, with a Komatsu University student winning the award for Best Position Paper in their meeting room.

 
　2026年7月、小松大学とボンド大学(オーストラリア)による模擬国連準備の共同プログラムが5回目を迎え、日本模擬国連(JEMUN)への合同参加も4回目となりました。今年のJEMUNには31大学が参加し、4つの会議室に分かれた代表団が、AIとコミュニケーションをテーマとした様々な国連シミュレーションについて議論を交わしました。 
　今回の成功の土台は、時間をかけた準備にありました。2026年５月から７月にかけて、小松大学の学生はボンド大学の学生とともに、毎週オンラインで集中的なトレーニングセッションを重ねてきました。その締めくくりとして、７月11日にボンド大学の学生団を石川県に迎え、対面ワークショップを実施しました。学生たちは、学業面での準備に加え、世界文化遺産である白川郷への訪問や、白山市での和太鼓体験など、異文化交流の機会にも恵まれました。そして７月18日から20日にかけて、大阪の近畿大学で開催された本会議に臨みました。 
　この努力が本番でも大きく評価され、31の参加校の中から3校に贈られる「University Positive Impact Award」のうち２つを、小松大学とボンド大学が獲得しました。この賞は、大学代表団全体として卓越したチームワークを発揮し、会議全体の雰囲気向上に大きく貢献した大学代表団に贈られるものです。

　団体としての受賞に加えて個人の功績も称えられ、小松大学の学生1名が、所属会議室での「Best Position Paper(最優秀ポジションペーパー)賞」を受賞しました。
